Created in 2016, this thematic tent is already a legend: the Shack d’Amérique is back with an amazing program! Come celebrate music and cultures from Quebec, Acadia, First Nations Peoples and New Orleans.
Join us for twenty shows and immerse yourself in a variety of styles: folk, country, bluegrass, rock, cajun, western and traditional music of artistes from here and abroad, and also give a try to dance and storytelling. With its old-looking surroundings made of barn wood, lanterns and solid tables, The Shack d’Amérique will make you travel through cultures and ages!
Among the shows not to be missed, put on your agenda the arrival of the new country voice of Quebec, Guylaine Tanguay, the groups The Slocan Ramblers and Le Winston Band as well as Jerry Hunter performing First Nations traditional dances. Also Saturday is the Traditionnal Quebec Evening with Musiques à bouches, Yan Boissonnault and his farm folk, and Bon Débarras.
