Lucibela is an artist born in São Nicolau, part of the Barlavento Islands in Cape Verde, who sings the traditional musical genres of her country – such as the morna and coladera.  She performs songs made famous by the great singers of Cape Verde such as Manuel de Novas, Jorge Humbertos and Betu, amongst others.
