Psychedelic Cumbia
Niña Volcán are a driving force in Canadian cumbia, blending cumbia, electronica, jazz, and afrobeat to ignite dance floors. Renowned in Toronto’s live scene for high-energy, boundary-pushing sets, the band released their debut album Macondo (Nov 2025), backed by an Ontario Arts Council grant and featuring Pedro Ojeda (Romperayo) with mixing by Eblis Alvarez (Meridian Brothers). Making their first appearance in Quebec, Niña Volcán are excited to bring their vibrant, dance-forward sound to Festival des traditions du monde de Sherbrooke.
