Vieux Farka Touré will discuss his guitar playing, musical influences and the different regional styles of music in Mali. Vieux will be joined by Adama Kone on the calabash drum. Vieux’s music is deeply rooted in the tradition of his father, Ali Farka Touré, while also incorporating blues, funk and reggae.
