Banitsa is a group of instrumental music composed of five Montreal musicians. Their repertoire is composed of original music juxtaposing melodic and rhythmic features of the Balkans, Quebec folk melodies and jazz influences. The arrangements are distinguished by a progressive music approach. The instrumentation consists of a violin, a banjo, a guitar, an accordion and a double bass. The dynamism of their energy and the musical subtleties of the group offer an artistic versatility allowing them to offer you a show that is both festive and intimate.
