Less Toches is a Montreal cumbia quintet in the traditional format of accordion, guacharaca, bass and Afro-Colombian drums. Like the bird from which they take their name, the group members musically fly over the corners of peasant America in search of the magic of their childhood, where the power of festive Cumbia has become mythical. Their show is like a reunion party between distant cousins, always ready to transmit this heavenly dreamlike feeling which they carry to pay homage to the roots while transforming the local fiesta.
