Marco Calliari was born in Quebec, but has never forgotten his Italian roots. Growing up in his famiglia, he was surrounded by the melodies of opera until the age of 14, when he began to follow a very different sound: wild, screaming, Heavy metal! It was then that he and his friends founded one of Quebec’s most interesting metal bands: Anonymus. In 2006, after more than 15 years and five solid albums, Marco ended this important musical adventure to devote himself entirely to his own growing solo career, which he began in 2003. Following the great success of his first solo album, Marco recorded Mia Dolce Vita in 2006, in which he performs his own versions of traditional Italian songs, including L’italiano, Bella Ciao and L’Americano. Since then, with his numerous solo albums, Marco has travelled between Canada, Europe and New York, exploring new horizons. He continues to make people around the world dance, laugh and sing.

Mamselle is the real birth name of Mamselle Ruiz. Mamselle’s creative approach has always been to combine the cultural influences of her new home with those of her origins, sharing Latin rhythms, Latin American traditions and Mexican legends with people here. Reciprocally, Mamselle brings to Latin America artistic trends from her new Quebec culture. Since 2010, Mamselle has performed over 500 shows in Quebec, Canada and Mexico, and has collaborated with the Cirque du Soleil. Mamselle’s career is rich in her two cultures (Mexico and Quebec), her love for the nations of the world and for the living arts (theater, tribal and Latin dance, circus and music), and of course her natural penchant for singing, which she has named “the source”. This lifetime of stage experience and skills has given Mamselle a spiritual relationship with the stage that is all her own, and which emanates from her in performance.
