It’s with great pride that we present our new Latin American tent, the Hacienda Latina.
This new big top will immerse visitors in a unique setting that reproduces the festive atmosphere of Latin American culture. Featuring some twenty shows, the Hacienda Latina will transport the public to the heart of a continent high in rhythms and colors. Artists from Latin American countries will set the stage with their salsa, bachata, merengue and samba, as well as more contemporary sounds such as rap, reggaeton and urban pop. The Hacienda Latina promises an unforgettable immersive experience, a grand celebration of the enchanting world of Latin America.
Among the artists not to be missed in this new setting are the group Repicao, who will present “gaïta”, a style of folk music played with traditional Venezuelan instruments such as the cuatro, charrasca and tambora, but also with a keyboard and modern bass. Mexican-Canadian singer-songwriter Amanda Martinez will also be on hand, combining world jazz, Mexican folklore and Cuban rhythms. Cuban-born artist Gretch’N will present a colorful show blending urban pop with Latin rhythms. Born in the county of Medellin, Colombia, the singer Serna will take his audience on a musical journey blending reggaeton, hip-hop and Latin rhythms. And finally, for salsa lovers, the Yordan & The Cuban Martinez Show will offer a musical experience blending all the great Cuban and Latin hits.
The Hacienda Latina joins the three other themed marquees at this year’s FTMS: the Pub iralandais, the Shack d’Amérique and the Espace Orient.
