Steven SLAB’s tale of Ti-Jean et l’Orferois

Once upon a time, in the small village of Cherry River, there lived a young man named Ti-Jean. Wanting to help his family, he decided to ask the richest man in the area, the Orferois, for a job. Ti-Jean will need help to complete all of this stingy man’s tasks and bring home money. How will he overcome this daunting challenge?

Ti-Jean et l’Orferois is a traditional tale collected from the Ducharme family in the municipality of Orford, in the heart of the Eastern Townships.
