FAQ

In the event of bad weather, does the Festival hold its activities?
Absolutely! With its 7 indoor stages, its tents, its exhibitors’ covered area and its terraces with parasols, the Festival is still going on! Depending on the severity of the precipitation, certain shows can be move on another stage. In a extremely rare way, a show could be cancelled or report. Can I bring food and drink onto the site?
No, the Gastronomic Corner is there and will tickle your taste buds. It is forbidden to bring any kind of drink or beverage on site.

Can I bring a water bottle?  
Of course!  We highly recommend you bring a reusable water bottle since, in our attempts to be as green a festival as possible, there will be no water bottles sold on site. Water stations will be readily available so that you can fill up your water bottles and keep your water fresh! Glass water bottles are forbiddenPlease make sure your water bottle is empty before going through the ticket booth. Thank you!

What are the permitted and prohibited items on the Festival site?

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE PERMITTED ON THE FESTIVAL SITE:
• Baby foods
• Feeding-bottle or children’s juice cup
• Empty bottle or thermos
• Guide dog or service dog (certification may be required)
• Light snack (e.g., candy bar, fruit, nuts, etc.)
• Umbrella
• Stroller for children

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED ON THE FESTIVAL SITE:
• Alcohol
• Pets or animals
• Folding portable chairs
• Glass bottle or container
• Liquids (Note that we have 4 water stations on site)
• Food / Complete Meal
• Icebox
• Stick and ball of all kinds
• Fireworks or firecrackers
• Purpose for sale/promotion without written and signed permission from the Festival
• Cannabis and derivatives
• Drugs and related accessories

Is the Festival accessible to people of limited mobility?
As the Festival site is rather flat, it is reasonably easy for those of limited mobility to get around. In addition, certain facilities, such as washrooms and parking lots, are adapted to accommodate. Accompanying guests with a sticker are also admitted to the site free of charge.

Can I smoke on site?
There are specially designed areas for smoking. Outside these areas, it is not possible to smoke. Please note that only tobacco and vaping are allowed.

Are we allowed to take photographs or videos during the shows?
Even though it is forbidden to film the entirety of a show, you are allowed to take photographs or short videos. However, we do encourage you to leave your cameras and phones in your pockets in order to fully live the moment!

Are there money machines (ATMs) on site?
Yes, ticket machines are available at the Information Kiosk in the center of the site, near the ticket offices at both entrances, and at the entrance to the Julien-Ducharme Center.

If I lose a personal belonging, where do I go?
Go to the Information Kiosk in the middle of the site.

Is there a security team and First-Aid service on site?
Both a security team and a specialized first-aid unit are present on site. For immediate assistance, go to the Information Kiosk or ask a member of the Festival team. We will contact necessary emergency personnel as quickly as possible.

I would like to volunteer for the Festival, how do I get involved?
If you want to join the team of more than 500 volunteers that contribute every year to the success of the event, contact Carolina Lopez, volunteers manager, by email at carolina@ftms.ca or by telephone at 819 821-7344 ext. 221. You will then take part in a rewarding human experience and a cultural journey while contributing to the success of the event!
