In this workshop, the soprano singer, Fairouz Oudjija will showcase a variety of different Berber songs. Having survived the ages, these captivating songs are passed on from generation to generation. They celebrate the rituals of life, from birth to death. During this workshop, Fairouz Oudjija will pay tribute to Taos Amrouche, a legend in Berber music. There will be a translation of the song in French before each performance so that the audience can better appreciate the meaning behind the song.
