Afri – Jazz Trio was born from a meeting between 3 artists, passionate about jazz. Composed of Raphael G. Longval on the fretless bass, of Jean Christophe Desrosiers on the Ibanez Jazz Guitar, the essential percussion vocal and multi-instrumentalist Gotta Lago. This young collective cleverly mixes the sounds of jazz with African flavors – Revisiting jazz standards, in high life, in afro beat. From Miles Davis, to Sonny Rollins via Wes Montgomery, we find in their eclectic repertoire of original pieces (Roots 6/8 blues) Nelligan immortal.
The show will be followed by a discussion with the audience.
